Repair it. Or make the switch.
If we recommend a refurbished replacement, your $60 deposit goes toward it. We can fully clone your current computer onto the replacement when its drive and system are compatible. Either way, you get a one-year warranty.
A drop-off appointment reserves time to bring in your computer. Repair timing depends on the diagnosis and any parts needed.
A few things to know
What does diagnosis cost?
There is a $60 deposit at drop-off. Diagnostic service costs $60–$120. The diagnostic fee is waived if you proceed with a repair or buy a refurbished computer, even after diagnosis is complete. If you buy a refurbished computer, we also apply your $60 deposit toward the purchase.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome during shop hours. Scheduling a drop-off lets us know you’re coming.
What should I bring?
Bring your computer and, for a laptop, its charger. If another accessory seems related to the problem, call us before your visit.
What if my computer isn’t worth repairing?
We’ll tell you if a repair doesn’t make financial sense and help you compare refurbished replacements. If you buy one, we apply your $60 deposit toward it and waive the diagnostic fee—even if we’ve already diagnosed your computer. We can fully clone your current computer onto the replacement when the drive is readable and the systems are compatible. If a full clone isn’t possible, we’ll explain your transfer options before proceeding.
Is the repair covered by a warranty?
Yes. Every repair and every computer we sell comes with a one-year warranty. Contact the shop if you need help with something we repaired or sold.
